Job Description
The two psychologists at Hornö are a shared resource for the entire operation. This means that as a psychologist, you work on behalf of all departments within the institution. The primary task of the psychologists is to conduct assessments, mapping, and evaluations of clients. Our assessment questions often concern neuropsychiatric disabilities, substance abuse, and psychiatric comorbidity, i.e., dual diagnoses, as well as treatment planning based on this. The role also includes working on suicide prevention and focused treatment interventions with clients. We also participate in treatment conferences and provide training for staff. At Hornö, you will collaborate closely with psychologist colleagues and other workgroups within LVM care. It is important that you are a person with good collaborative skills and an interest in working with different professional groups.
Qualifications
Psychologist license. A driver's license and access to a car are required. We are looking for someone interested in neuropsychology, addiction, psychiatry, forensic psychology, and comorbidity. Experience working in inpatient care such as psychiatry, correctional care, substance abuse treatment, or similar is an advantage. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
To succeed in your work, you have a solid positive view of humanity and are humble. You easily take initiative and are accustomed to taking responsibility for, planning, and delineating your work. You also have the ability to create professional relationships, security, and stability. You are motivated to help clients in vulnerable life situations and share SiS's values, being a place for change.
At SiS, we care about good employee relations. This means that you as an employee take responsibility for your work, contribute to development, and participate in good collaboration. Read more about our employee relations.
