We are looking for a MySQL Consultant on behalf of our client who wants to work on developing and technically advanced projects. As a consultant for the client, you will have the opportunity to contribute your expertise in database management, optimize performance, and participate in solutions that create real business value. The assignments vary and give you a chance to develop both your technical skills and your experience in the consulting role.

🔍 About the assignment

As a MySQL Consultant, you will work directly with the client, often in complex system environments with high demands on availability, security, and data quality. You will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and optimizing databases, working closely with developers, architects, and other stakeholders. The role combines practical technical work with strategic responsibility and problem-solving.

🧠 Your profile

• At least 5 years of experience working with MySQL or similar databases

• Experience in database design, optimization, and administration

• Knowledge of backup, replication, and high availability

• Experience in performance tuning and SQL optimization

• Relevant education in IT, computer engineering, or equivalent

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

🌟 Meritorious

• Previous experience in consulting assignments

• Experience with cloud platforms and database services (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Experience in scripting and automation (Python, Bash)

• Understanding of agile working methods
