Within the social care administration, about 1200 dedicated employees work to provide support and care to those in need in our municipality. The work takes place within elderly care, home care, disability services, social psychiatry, and individual and family care.

The health and medical care unit consists of nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and HSL-USK. We work with patients aged 18 and older who need health and medical care at the primary care level in their homes, both in special and ordinary housing.

With us in Ystad Municipality, you will work with home health care both in ordinary and special housing. As a substitute, you will have a flexible everyday life where the needs of the units determine your placement. This means you can experience both the pulse of the city and the tranquility of the countryside.

In our larger facilities, you work together with other nurses, while in the smaller units you sometimes work more independently, always with support from colleagues and managers when you need it.

As a nurse with us, you have a varied and meaningful job. You make medical assessments, manage medications, and provide support and guidance to care staff. You plan health and medical care interventions for individuals who need care and contribute to creating security for both patients and relatives. QUALIFICATIONS

We work from a holistic perspective where the patient's needs are at the center. Your professional competence, engagement, and ability to see and meet the whole person are therefore crucial to the assignment.

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse. Specialist or advanced training as a district nurse is an advantage but not a requirement. Experience from care and support is highly valued, as well as other work experience that contributes to personal maturity and confidence in meeting people in different life situations.

You have good computer skills and are used to documenting in journal systems. You express yourself clearly and professionally in both spoken and written Swedish. A B driver's license is a requirement as the job involves travel within the municipality.
