We now welcome you as a specialist nursing assistant to our elderly care home in central Linköping.

In the role of specialist nursing assistant with us at Forenede Care, you will work to provide good care, service, and support to our residents. You will serve as a link between the nursing team, rehabilitation staff, and other personnel, driving the development of care work in collaboration with them and the management of the facility.

Our residence Duvan is a special accommodation for the elderly with 94 places and is centrally located next to Drottninggatan. The operation was taken over by Forenede Care on September 1, 2024.

In the position of specialist nursing assistant, you will work with care and support based on the residents' wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You will assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, responding to alarms, and providing social interaction. Social interaction is an important part of our work to ensure that all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can involve chatting, playing games, going on outings, cycling, or engaging in fun activities together. You will also work with delegated tasks from licensed personnel, such as medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently seeking new specialist nursing assistants for Duvan for permanent employment with a probationary period, with employment percentage and start date to be agreed upon.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant

• Diploma and grades from training as a specialist nursing assistant, preferably in elderly care, multi-illness, or dementia.

• A developmental approach and the ability to inspire and engage others

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form

Previous experience in elderly care and dementia care is an advantage.

The position is suitable for you if you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings while being good at building good relationships and are service-oriented. We work in teams as well as independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in that environment.

Before we offer employment, you will need to provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or approved work permit from the Migration Agency.
