Rehab Väst is a unit within primary care in western Östergötland that offers high-quality rehabilitation to patients in the western part of the region. Our mission is to provide the residents of Östergötland with safe, quality-assured, and equitable rehabilitation regardless of where in the county they live. We currently operate at the hospital in Motala, in Mjölby, and at several health centers in the western part of the region. Rehab Väst has over 85 employees distributed among physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, administrators, and nursing assistants. We offer rehabilitation within inpatient care, outpatient care, and primary care. Within primary care in the west, there is close collaboration between the units, which creates good conditions for development, participation, and cooperation with other care providers. We also have close collaboration with other rehabilitation organizations in the region. Our operations are characterized by commitment and the desire to develop and improve processes to create added value for the patient. Within Rehab Väst, we help and support each other and are knowledgeable in our professions and assignments. We actively work to use and develop digital solutions to meet the needs of citizens and the organization.

Job Description

This summer, we need a physiotherapist for the inpatient care group at Rehab Väst. We work with the medical specialist clinic (MSK) in the geriatric acute care department (GAVA), medical acute care department (MAVA/MOA), heart unit, and stroke unit. The work involves close collaboration with physiotherapist colleagues, occupational therapists, and the rest of the department team. You will have a primary placement where consideration is given to the composition of the group as well as your competence and experience.

With us, you will work with physiotherapeutic assessment and training in areas such as orthopedics, neurology, breathing, and circulation. Documentation is done in the Cosmic journal system.

You will be well taken care of when you start with us, and you will be part of Rehab Väst's introduction program. Here you will have a varied job with the opportunity to develop together with competent and creative colleagues in a workplace characterized by good well-being.

Work Group

The closest work group consists of about 17 colleagues with the professions of occupational therapist/care coordinator and physiotherapist.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience in rehabilitation in inpatient care is an advantage. The work requires that you have good language skills in Swedish and English.

To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. As a person, you are flexible, empathetic, and have good collaboration skills. You are confident in yourself. With us, it is important that you enjoy working in a team and in close collaboration with colleagues while also working somewhat independently. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and that you are the right person for our operations.
