Job Description

As the process leader for the region's new pharmaceutical warehouse, you will play a central role in establishing and developing the operation ahead of the planned start in February 2028.

The work is both strategic and operational – you will be an important link between planning, operations, and quality assurance. You will work closely with unit managers, the operations manager, project leaders, and employees at the region's three hospitals.

The position is primarily at the University Hospital in Linköping (US), but work also occurs at Vrinnevisjukhuset in Norrköping (ViN) and Lasarettet in Motala (LiM).

You will lead the build-up from planning to start-up and ensure that the operation meets the requirements for hospital pharmacies and supports the region's goals for a safe and efficient pharmaceutical supply.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Collaborating with the project leader to develop goals, timelines, and project structure for the warehouse build-up.
  • Ensuring that the operation meets relevant laws, regulations, and requirements for hospital pharmacies.
  • Participating in the development of processes, routines, and quality systems ahead of start-up.
  • Contributing to the development of process and flow charts for warehouse functions, including receiving, order management, distribution, and return flows.
  • Ensuring logistical and regulatory conditions for the approval of the operation.
  • Being the primary contact point for functions such as assortment management, IT, facilities, transport, and logistics.
  • Coordinating collaboration between the involved hospitals to create common working methods and routines.
  • Contributing to requirements setting and testing of IT solutions for warehouse management.
  • Participating in recruitment, staffing planning, and onboarding of personnel.
  • Collaborating with unit managers, the operations manager, and project leaders within the Pharmaceutical Center regarding roles, resources, and priorities.
  • Monitoring the project's progress towards goals, timelines, and activities, and reporting to the steering group/unit manager.
  • Daily operational responsibility and work in the operation once the warehouse operation has been launched.
  • Identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the long-term development of the region's pharmaceutical logistics.
