Are you looking to take on a senior commercial role where you combine business drive, structure, and long-term relationships in a company with patented products, a strong market position, and international growth ambitions?

STAPP AB is now seeking a Key Account Manager who, together with the CEO and the team, will drive the business forward in Sweden and internationally.

This is a business-oriented role for those who thrive in a smaller company with high professionalism, short decision-making paths, and a clear focus on quality and delivery. You will play a central role in the company's customer relationships, creating order, progress, and clarity in our most important business dealings and collaborations.

About the role

As a Key Account Manager at STAPP, you will have clear ownership of the company's most important customer and partner relationships. You will be responsible for driving and developing ongoing business from dialogue to closure and long-term follow-up. The role involves close collaboration with the CEO on business-critical issues while independently leading customer dialogues, prioritizing business, and ensuring structure and progress in the sales process.

You will have many points of contact and be the primary contact for customers, distributors, and strategic partners, as well as in collaboration with US-based sales resources. The role combines operational sales work with clear responsibility for structure, follow-up, and long-term business development.

Your main responsibilities:

  • Drive and follow up on ongoing business, dialogues, and decisions
  • Be the main contact for distributors and strategic partners
  • Coordinate and support US-based sales resources and ensure clear communication and reporting
  • Ensure structure in the sales process: pipeline, quotes, follow-up, and next steps
  • Prepare and conduct customer and partner meetings
  • Develop sales and partner structure, CRM, and reporting
  • Participate in forecasting, budget preparation, and commercial follow-up

Who we are looking for

You are a confident person with strong business acumen and experience in driving complex B2B sales. You take responsibility, create structure, and make things happen without compromising on quality, professionalism, or relationships.

You have:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in qualified B2B sales or commercial roles
  • Post-secondary education in business, engineering, industrial sales, or equivalent work experience
  • Documented experience in complex deals with long sales cycles and multiple decision-makers
  • Good understanding of technical systems and project-based business
  • Experience working with distributors, partners, or reseller networks
  • Familiarity with structured work in pipeline management, forecasting, CRM, and commercial follow-up
  • Ability to independently drive business, relationships, and follow-up
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English

Meritorious:

  • Experience from defense, security, government, or infrastructure
  • Familiarity with public procurement and framework agreements
  • Experience in international business (especially Europe/USA) and distributor structures
  • Experience representing the company at trade shows, customer events, and international contexts
  • Basic technical understanding of mechanics, installation, or system integration
  • Experience from companies in a growth phase or entrepreneurial environment

Personal qualities:

  • Independent, responsible, and unpretentious
  • Structured and methodical with strong follow-up skills
  • Business-minded with good judgment and high integrity
  • Confident in dialogue with senior decision-makers
  • Relationship-building with a long-term perspective
  • Solution-oriented and flexible in a smaller organization
