Guides to Tullgarn Palace Summer 2026
As an employee of the Royal Court's public activities department, you play a crucial role in enhancing visitors' experiences of the royal cultural heritage. Whether you are selling tickets, monitoring the site, or serving customers in the shops, you keep the visitor in focus and ensure they receive a first-class experience.
We are looking for dedicated staff for Tullgarn Palace for the summer season of 2026.
In the role of guide, you warmly welcome our visitors. You create a memorable and safe experience for the visitor by ensuring that guidelines and safety procedures are followed closely. The role includes monitoring and controlling visitor flows in the public areas of the sites, as well as sales and ticket control at the entrances. You play an active role in public safety work and are available to answer visitors' questions.
As a guide, you bring the royal cultural heritage to life with great storytelling in tours in Swedish and English tailored to the groups' wishes and conditions.
Qualifications
- Employment at the Royal Court requires that you are at least 18 years old.
- You express yourself well in Swedish and English as required in daily work.
- To apply as a guide, we require that you have university credits in history, art history, or equivalent.
- Previous experience in hospitality, public safety work, and service professions, as well as additional language skills, is an advantage.

You have a strong sense of responsibility, are attentive, flexible, stress-resistant, and can quickly adapt between the tasks assigned to you. Furthermore, you work well in a team, have a strong focus on safety, and are solution-oriented.
Other information about the position
- The position is a temporary part-time employment.
- Mandatory training is included before the season starts.
- Working hours are scheduled during the day according to a rotating schedule with shifts on weekdays and weekends, based on the needs of the operation.
- Work may take place at one or more of our sites.
- You will work longer continuous periods. Time off cannot be granted during the employment period.
- Salary according to applicable agreements.
- The trade unions are represented by Saco-S, Seko, and OFR/S.
