The Management Office of Region Uppsala is part of Region Uppsala, one of the largest employers in Uppsala County. Our Operations

The mission of Financial Services is to provide innovative and reliable financial processes for all administrations within Region Uppsala. This group includes the invoicing team, accounting, Financial System Management, Purchasing, the Administrative Automation Unit (Adma), and Financial Support.

We are now looking for someone who wants to work as a financial administrator in our friendly invoicing team where we handle both patient, customer, and supplier invoices.

Your Mission

You will be part of the invoicing team, which consists of about 20 employees. In this role, you will primarily work with accounts payable and be responsible for several recurring tasks in the invoicing process – from receiving and handling supplier invoices to payment and follow-up.

Your main tasks will include:

• handling incoming supplier invoices
• coding and reviewing supplier invoices
• executing supplier payments, including creating and verifying payment files according to established routines
• managing cases in our case management system, both internally and externally
• working with reminder and collection management

During month-end and year-end closing, some additional tasks may be added. Additionally, several development and improvement initiatives are ongoing within the invoicing team where you may have the opportunity to contribute.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone who wants to become a valuable part of our team and contribute with your knowledge in accounts payable. You have a few years of experience in the finance field, specifically in accounts payable, and enjoy working in a structured and solution-oriented manner. It is an advantage if you have previous experience working with Unit4 ERP (formerly Agresso).

As a person, you are driven, ambitious, and flexible. Attention to detail, structure, and social skills are other important qualities for this position. You need to have a good ability to express yourself in spoken and written Swedish, and we will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
