About the position

Tiundaskolan is a municipal F-9 school located in Luthagen with approximately 640 students and 70 staff members. The school has a complete student health team that works preventively and health-promoting. Tiundaskolan is part of the Trivselprogrammet, and we want you to share our fundamental view of the equal value and rights of all people in society. At Tiundaskolan, there is an after-school program consisting of about 65 students.

Job Description

The position includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching in handicrafts for grades 3-9 in close collaboration with your subject colleagues. You will start from the student group you meet and are expected to create varied and challenging teaching. During the spring term of 2026, the majority of your teaching time will be in the handicraft subjects of wood and metal. We also welcome that you are qualified to teach additional subjects. You will belong to a workgroup of several handicraft and art teachers who have classrooms next to each other and a shared workspace.

In the spring term of 2026, you will work with mentorship at the secondary level. You will be part of one of the secondary school's working teams. You will collaborate with the school's other staff and participate in our joint development work from an F-9 perspective.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a Swedish teaching license with authorization to teach handicrafts and additional subjects. To succeed in this role, you need to have a good understanding of digital learning tools and how they are used in teaching to deepen learning. You also need to have a good understanding of the school's governing documents and the primary school's curriculum.

We prefer that you have experience teaching wood and metal handicrafts in grades 3-9.

As a person, you are pedagogical and understand the different conditions people have to absorb knowledge. You easily take the initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are outgoing and socially active in professional contexts. The job suits you if you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and flexible manner.
