At the Central Office for Procurement and Financial Management, approximately 75 employees work to drive Region Skåne's procurement of goods and services. We are located in modern and pleasant premises at the head office by Dockan in Malmö, with nice lunch restaurants in the area and close to public transport.

We are now looking for three procurement strategists/purchasers with a genuine interest in good business to the unit for Operational Support Procurement and the IT Mt Lab unit. We offer a broad and exciting role with good opportunities to influence your work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a purchaser/procurement strategist, you will conduct qualified purchasing and procurement work within your category area. You play an important role as a project leader in procurements and are responsible for developing various needs and market analyses, business setups, and category strategies. Furthermore, you will develop a good understanding of the supplier market, conduct negotiations, write contracts, and manage contract administration. You are expected to contribute to an innovative environment where we constantly seek better ways to achieve our prioritized goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome applicants with a university degree, preferably in economics, law, engineering, procurement, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. We would like you to have good knowledge of or experience working in accordance with the Public Procurement Act (LOU). You are confident in the role of project leader and experienced in leading and driving larger projects.

As you will independently conduct oral negotiations and formulate contract text, very good skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written, are required. You also have good experience with the Microsoft Office suite, where very good knowledge of Excel is seen as a prerequisite for the position.

The tasks require you to be structured and goal-oriented. You are a good negotiator with the ability to maintain and further develop relationships with clients, various market actors, and other stakeholders. Furthermore, you are driven and have a good ability to work independently while valuing good collaboration with your colleagues. You are a problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced work environment and appreciates developing and contributing to your colleagues' growth. Personal suitability is highly valued.
