We are now looking for a buyer to join our EMS Supply team at our headquarters in Lund, Sweden. Join our team and together we will support our operations by delivering products worldwide. It is initially a consultancy assignment for six months but with the possibility of permanent employment provided that both parties are satisfied.
Who is your future team?
You will be part of a team consisting of dedicated and talented colleagues who focus on enabling a stable product flow. In addition to buyers for various products, our team consists of system analysts who support the function with process development and system usage. Together we are a creative and ambitious team where we make things happen!
Our job is to meet Axis customer needs by ensuring product availability at our 8 CLCs around the world. The right product in the right place, at the right time and quantity is our focus! Internally, you will collaborate with your team and other colleagues within Axis such as Demand Planning, Order Management, Sourcing, Product Management, and more; and externally with our production sites (EMS).
The position may require 5-10 travel days per year.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities
- Analyze existing and expected demand and supply plans and take action to maintain balance
- Identify and counteract supply deviations
- Participate, set requirements, and act in projects related to your product portfolio such as launching new products or delivering large corporate customer projects
- Plan, release, and manage purchase orders
- Synchronize and prioritize production and delivery plans with your suppliers to ensure they meet your supply requirements
- Continuously work for an effective inventory management strategy to ensure and balance availability
- Analyze and monitor your inventory management strategy and related KPIs
WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO
- Have a master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- At least 2 years of experience working with purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management
- Experience working in ERP systems
- A strong interest in BI systems and data analysis
- Is driven by change management
- Fluent in Swedish and English
