Green Hotel is an inspiring meeting place for visitors from all over the world. It accommodates everything from romantic weekends and family stays to conferences, weddings, and large events. We are now looking for a Head Chef who wants to help take our culinary expression to the next level. Here, you will lead a kitchen where craftsmanship, creativity, and leadership meet.

About the Role

As the Head Chef at Green Hotel, you are the creative and operational engine in the kitchen. You lead and inspire the team, actively participate in daily service, and ensure that every dish meets the highest quality. With a foundation in seasonal, local ingredients and Swedish culinary traditions, you develop menus that feel both modern and rooted – always with a business-minded approach and strong structure in kitchen operations.

Your Mission

You lead and develop the kitchen team with clarity, presence, and passion. You ensure the quality of every service and drive menu development with a focus on flavor, sustainability, and guest experience. The role includes responsibility for purchasing, kitchen economics, and cost control, while creating efficient workflows that work for both à la carte, conferences, weddings, and larger events.

Who Are You?

You are a confident and unpretentious leader who is passionate about food and people. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have solid experience from à la carte kitchens, and are used to working systematically with routines and finances without compromising on quality. With curiosity about the flavors of the world, you stand firm in Swedish home cooking and let the season and local ingredients guide your creativity. You have at least three years of experience as a Head Chef and/or Sous Chef, are coaching in your leadership, and a natural team player who builds culture, pride, and joy at work.

Location: Tällberg, Dalarna
The position is: permanent full-time with a six-month probationary period. You report to the Hotel Manager. Salary according to agreement. Accommodation is available.
