Staffing Planner at SiS LVM Home Hornö

The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, SiS, is an authority responsible for individually tailored compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse. SiS LVM Home Hornö receives men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse. We accept men with mental health issues and men with aggressive behavior. We are tasked with providing care for clients with special care needs.

Job Description

Do you want to work in a key role and contribute to the daily functioning of our operations? Apply for the position of staffing planner at SiS! The role is new and is part of SiS's new organization aimed at a more equitable and efficient working method throughout the organization.

As a staffing planner, you have overall responsibility for staffing planning for all departments of the institution. You are responsible for the operational planning of staffing shifts and coordinating the institution's staffing needs, both in the short and long term. The role also includes responsibility for overall staffing planning before holiday periods and adjusting schedules as needed, for example, during rehabilitation or temporary part-time work. In addition to operational staffing planning, you are also responsible for administering and being the institution's expert in the staffing system Besched. The work means that you will work independently while having many contact points and collaborations with both employees, unit managers, and your closest colleagues, including HR generalists and administrators. You will have the opportunity to influence the authority's development work and working methods related to staffing and scheduling through a network consisting of both national expert functions and staffing planners at other institutions.

Qualifications

You have a good ability to work in a fast-paced environment while creating an overview of the whole. You are attentive and structured, with a good ability to anticipate needs and plan your work accordingly. As the need for staff can change rapidly, you must be flexible and able to independently structure and prioritize your work. Your many contact points also require you to have good communication skills and a high sense of service.

You should also have:

  • Relevant post-secondary education with a focus on administration or HR, or other education combined with work experience that SiS considers equivalent
  • Good knowledge of and understanding of legislation and regulations regarding working hours
  • Experience working with staffing and scheduling
  • Experience in personnel administration, scheduling, and staffing-related tasks
  • Ability to handle multiple parallel tasks and quickly reprioritize under changing conditions
  • Good communication skills in both spoken and written form
  • Good system proficiency and experience working in administrative and personnel-related IT systems
  • Good knowledge of the Office suite

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Knowledge of personnel and staffing systems, e.g., Besched, KAJ, Proceedo
  • Documented experience of administrative work within SiS operations
  • Experience in documentation, record-keeping, and archiving

Employment:

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting with a six-month probationary period. Start date according to agreement.
