Hovsjövägen is a nursing home located in Södertälje. The facility comprises a total of 54 apartments, of which 18 are focused on somatic care and 36 are adapted for individuals with dementia. The residence offers round-the-clock care and support based on the residents' individual needs, with a focus on safety, participation, and quality of life.

Job Description

As the activity coordinator, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing activities that promote the residents' physical, mental, and social well-being. The role involves creating a meaningful and stimulating daily life based on the residents' individual needs, interests, and abilities.

Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and conducting both individual and group activities, such as social gatherings, cultural events, physical activities, and sensory-stimulating activities.

• Adapting activities according to the residents' functional levels and daily conditions.

• Collaborating with care staff, nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists to ensure a holistic perspective on the resident.

• Contributing to structure and content in daily life and recognizing holidays and seasonal activities.

• Documenting conducted activities and following up on how they affect the residents' well-being.

The activity coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing quality of life, combating loneliness, and creating joy and community within the facility.

• Permanent position, 75%

• Daytime working hours, including public holidays
