Cook for Catering Kitchen with Experience in Middle Eastern and Halal Cuisine!

Role Information

As a kitchen team member, you will be responsible for preparing and quality-assuring meals to be served on board airplanes. In this role, you will primarily work on producing dishes for airlines in the Middle East with Arabic-inspired menus. The work is done according to established recipes, high hygiene standards, and safety procedures to ensure that all meals meet the right quality and fulfill customer-specific requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to menus, recipes, and production planning.
• Prepare ingredients and ensure proper handling and storage.
• Ensure that food maintains the correct temperature, consistency, and presentation.
• Work in accordance with HACCP, food standards, and internal safety procedures.
• Follow production schedules to meet delivery and flight times.
• Maintain good order and hygiene in the work area.
• Collaborate with colleagues in production and logistics for an efficient workflow.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience from large kitchens, restaurants, or food production is an advantage.
• Experience or good knowledge of Middle Eastern and halal cooking.
• Understanding of hygiene regulations and food safety (HACCP).
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good teamwork skills and willingness to contribute to the team's common goals.
• Attention to detail and a good sense of quality.
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English.

Scope and Employment Type

Permanent full-time position with a 6-month probationary period.

Working hours: 06:00-14:30, weekend work may occur.

Desired start: February 2026.
