Job Name: Senior Android Application Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Android application developer.

Job Responsibilities

In your work as a senior software developer, your key tasks are to design and implement native platform software for AOSP-based infotainment solutions and develop Android applications using Kotlin and Java.

• You design and develop with a focus on clean, high-quality, maintainable code.

• You collaborate closely with global cross-functional teams to define features.

• You troubleshoot issues and optimize performance in your selected area.

• You contribute to the improvement of Android development processes, tooling, and architecture, participate in code reviews, and promote best practices in Android development, utilizing key Android components such as Activities, Services, Content Providers, Broadcast Receivers, and Intents to build robust solutions.

Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Android development, ideally within the automotive or infotainment domain.

• Proven expertise in Kotlin and Java with strong proficiency in Android Studio.

• Deep experience with native AOSP development using the Soong/Make build system.

• Solid understanding of the Android SDK and platform architecture.

• Familiarity with Android runtime resource overlays (RRO), system-level permissions, and privileged apps is a plus.

• Experience with automotive communication protocols and/or QNX is a strong advantage.
