Asset Manager at Svenska kraftnät

Svenska kraftnät is one of the key players in the transition to sustainable energy. As an Asset Manager, you will have one of Sweden's most significant jobs, contributing every day to securing Sweden's electricity supply. We need you to succeed in our vital mission to electrify Sweden.

About the position

As an Asset Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the maintenance of control systems and auxiliary power systems at our stations. You will lead a management group with various specialist competencies to set goals, follow up, and develop management within these areas. Management is governed by a management plan that is updated annually, and you will work strategically on long-term improvements.

You will report to the unit manager of Management and Process Development and to the management steering group. The role involves working cross-functionally with several roles, units, and divisions, and you will have significant opportunities to influence strategic goals and future development.

The Management and Process Development unit is responsible for the development, compliance, and follow-up of management plans as well as the strategic management plan. The unit is also responsible for developing and managing one of Svenska kraftnät's core processes. The unit currently consists of 10 employees and is part of the Asset Management Section, which includes four units: Reinvestment Planning and Ordering, Management and Process Development, Facility Analysis, and Management Support.

This role offers great opportunities for you who want to develop both as a leader and in the technical area of control systems and auxiliary power. You will also have the opportunity to develop in strategic asset management and contribute to improved facility management.

About you

Requirements:

Furthermore, you have an academic degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience acquired in another way.

You also have:

  • Several years of experience in a leadership role, such as Asset Manager, Project Manager, or equivalent
  • Experience with auxiliary power
  • Several years of experience in the energy and/or electricity sector
  • Experience working within a management organization
  • Driver's license B
  • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is meritorious if you have knowledge and experience of:

  • Several years of experience in facility operations for regional or national grids regarding AC stations
  • Management systems in accordance with ISO 55001

  • The position is located in Stockholm/Sundbyberg, Västerås, Gothenburg, or Sundsvall
  • Opportunity for remote work up to 50% #LI-hybrid
  • Travel is required in this position (approximately 1-2 times a month depending on the location)
