Data Analyst in Construction Logistics

Do you want to work with complex data linked to real, physical flows in a construction and logistics environment? Do you have an analytical mind, an eye for detail, and a burning interest in understanding and improving logistics processes? At Wiklunds, you are offered a unique opportunity to build a new data-driven structure from the ground up and become an important part of their ongoing development journey.

Here you will have the opportunity to work closely with the business, contribute to efficient flows, analyze data, and be involved in creating smart solutions for the logistics of the future within the construction sector!

Your Responsibilities

In the role of data analyst, you will work on projects that contribute to sustainable urban and community development by ensuring that construction logistics flows are planned, optimized, and followed up in a systematic and data-driven manner. You will have overall responsibility for building and further developing Wiklunds' data-driven approach within construction logistics. By collecting, modeling, analyzing, and visualizing data from various sources, you create insights and decision support that drive efficiency, quality, and development in complex logistics flows.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Collecting and integrating data from various systems and sources (project data, deliveries, timelines, resource utilization, sensor data, etc.).
  • Structuring, quality assuring, and modeling data for analysis.
  • Analyzing logistics flows, variations, and bottlenecks in construction projects.
  • Developing dashboards, reports, and analysis models for operational and strategic decision support.
  • Working closely with project organizations to translate analysis into concrete improvements.
  • Contributing to the selection and development of digital tools, data models, and KPIs for construction logistics.

This is a role for you who want to help build a new data-driven structure from scratch and feel confident in contributing your expertise in logistics planning, project management, and data analysis.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a few years of work experience in data analysis and that you thrive in a business-oriented role where you can see the clear impact of your analyses. We believe you have an engineering degree in logistics, industrial economics, construction technology, or a related field, and a strong interest in how logistics flows can be developed, optimized, and streamlined using data.

As a person, you are analytical, meticulous, and solution-oriented with the ability to see connections and draw conclusions from data. You are curious, driven by learning new things, and want to create results by developing both working methods and processes. You are confident in communicating and visualizing analysis results for both technical and non-technical audiences and can translate insights into concrete improvements and recommendations.

We believe you will fit particularly well at Wiklunds if you are unpretentious, engaged, and take responsibility for driving issues forward.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Education in logistics, industrial economics, construction technology, or a comparable field.
  • Background as a data analyst, BI developer, data engineer, or similar.
  • Good experience in data analysis, data modeling, and visualization.
  • Familiarity with tools such as:
    • SQL and databases
    • BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar)
    • Python, R, or similar for analysis (meritorious)

To be considered, you must also be prepared to undergo a background check via the criminal record.
