The Church of Sweden in Huddinge consists of three parishes, a cemetery administration, and a church administration. The church administration works with administration, finance and payroll, IT, communication, and property management. We at the church administration work together to create the best possible conditions for the operations within the Huddinge parish.
We are now looking for a
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
1-year temporary position with the possibility of extension
Your mission as a payroll administrator is to be responsible for the handling and administration of salaries and payroll processes. This includes collecting and processing payroll data, ensuring that salary payments are made correctly and on time, as well as complying with applicable laws and agreements. You will manage payroll administration for the entire organization, which means that you will handle approximately 170 salaries for employees and elected officials throughout the Huddinge parish each month. Payroll processing is done in Hogia. Reporting for managers and employees is done in Flex. In your role, you will also have contact with external parties such as the Tax Agency and the Social Insurance Agency.
Your role includes providing service and support to managers and employees, answering questions, guiding in payroll matters, and handling administrative issues to ensure everything functions correctly and on time. You will collaborate with finance regarding payroll-related issues concerning financial reporting and with HR regarding personnel-related matters.
We are looking for someone who has experience working with the entire payroll process and has a good understanding of all its components. You should have knowledge and experience with payroll systems and be able to utilize the various functions of the systems.
You are responsible, have the ability to work in a structured manner, plan your work with good foresight, and work systematically. We want you to be detail-oriented and have the ability to understand the connections in the payroll process and identify discrepancies. In the role, you need to be service-oriented and pedagogical, with a good ability to explain complex issues clearly and simply. You have integrity, appreciate independent work but also have a desire to collaborate, and have the ability to create good relationships and contribute to a positive work environment.

You have relevant education in payroll administration or have equivalent knowledge acquired in another way. Knowledge of the Office suite and very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Experience in interpreting and applying collective agreements is also required.
You are positive towards the Church of Sweden and share our values. The position requires membership in the Church of Sweden. Start as soon as possible.
