We are currently building a new municipal building in central Lomma, expected to be completed in 2027. In the meantime, we are working from premises in the picturesque Alnarp.

We are now looking for a Guardian Supervisor with a legal education for our guardian supervision operations. The team currently consists of 6 dedicated employees, and we handle cases for the municipalities of Lomma, Burlöv, Kävlinge, and Staffanstorp. The operations belong to the administration department within the municipal management.

In recent years, we have focused on operational development and have made significant progress in digitizing our work processes. This makes us feel well-prepared for the new legislation expected to come into force next summer. We also highly value professional development and continuously participate in skills-enhancing training and various forms of networks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Guardian Supervision operations in Lomma supervise guardianship, trusteeship, and parental custody. This is done, among other things, through annual reviews and by making decisions on consent for various actions that the representatives need to carry out in their assignments. The area of responsibility is broad and includes independent legal assessments and handling cases on behalf of the guardian. The assignment also includes recruiting, training, and compensating representatives. The guardian's operations and the representatives' assignments are regulated by law.

The job responsibilities include representing the guardian in court cases and handling questions about inheritance law, property sales, asset placements, and more. As a Guardian Supervisor, you have a significant responsibility to ensure that the operations comply with the laws and guidelines regulating guardianship.

As a Guardian Supervisor, you work independently with your cases but are part of a team with five other Guardian Supervisors. We hold regular case meetings and highly value the exchange of experiences and knowledge. As a lawyer within the operations, you have a special responsibility to guide colleagues in particularly complex legal matters.

We work systematically with operational development and digitization of our operations, which means that you will also be involved and responsible for various development initiatives that we agree upon in our annual operational planning.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a law degree, and it is advantageous if you have several years of experience in handling cases within the guardian supervision area or other governmental duties.

The position involves many contacts with both principals and representatives, as well as relatives, banks, and other authorities. Therefore, it is important that you can express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing, have high social competence, and the ability to adapt your communication style depending on the recipient.

Important personal qualities for the role include being service-oriented, responsible, and meticulous in your work, as well as having a knack for collaboration and building trusting relationships.

We work systematically to develop and improve our work processes, so it is very important that you embrace our development-oriented approach.

The work is largely driven by incoming cases, which means that the workload can vary from day to day. You therefore need to be able to quickly reprioritize your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
