Väderkvarnen Care and Nursing Home is centrally located in Stockholm with close proximity to public transport.

My name is Dorota, and I am the unit manager responsible for night staff here at the facility. Väderkvarnen has a stable operation under municipal management in the Northern Inner City district administration with 92 apartments in care and nursing home focused on dementia, somatic care, and social psychiatry for the elderly, as well as a service house.

The work is scheduled on an 8-week rotation, full-time 100%.

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant with a protected professional title. You will work in the team around the elderly, contributing your specialist competence in care. Together with your colleagues, you will plan and organize care and work for good care and health services based on individual needs. We work person-centered with the elderly in focus. The work involves both urgent and planned interventions, which means you need to be able to make independent decisions. You will also collaborate closely with your colleagues.

As a care assistant at Väderkvarnen Care and Nursing Home, some of your tasks will include:

• providing good care
• having a good approach
• ensuring that each resident has a nice and valuable day, with a sense of coherence and participation

It is important that you are professional, engaged, and flexible.

Your competence and experience

Qualifications:

• Education/degree as a care assistant with a protected professional title
• Experience in elderly care and work within elderly psychiatry
• Good knowledge of Swedish both in speech and writing.
• Good computer skills with extensive experience working in multiple digital systems.
• Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing.

Meritorious:

• Specialist training in psychiatry, with a particular focus on elderly psychiatry
