Danvikshem is a care and nursing home, beautifully located at Danvikstull, right on the border between Nacka and Stockholm.

About the role

At Danvikshem, your main task as a nursing assistant is to ensure that the residents feel good. You do this by providing support in daily tasks, performing care and nursing interventions, and also participating in social activities. You receive a lot of appreciation in return, a feeling that makes you feel good!

The work is based on clear planning and routines. You work together with engaging and knowledgeable colleagues. You collaborate closely with other professionals such as nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and activity leaders. All to provide the best possible care and support for each resident.

Utilize your entire professional competenceWith us, you have the opportunity to work with what you do best. As a trained nursing assistant, this means you only work within your area of expertise - care and nursing. Cleaning is handled by our cleaning staff, and meals are prepared by our skilled chefs in our own kitchen. This allows you to focus on caring for the residents. Simply perform the tasks you are trained for!

The position is a 6-month temporary contract with the possibility of extension. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.

Your knowledge and experienceWe are looking for you who are a qualified nursing assistant and share our genuine interest and commitment to working with the elderly. Your personal qualities are important to us, therefore we are looking for someone who
  • has a strong sense of service

  • enjoys taking responsibility

  • is willing to share your knowledge with your colleagues

  • has the ability to see and understand the individual's needs and desires

  • wants to provide good and caring nursing.

We also have some requirements
  • You are a qualified nursing assistant with a professional title

  • You have a good command of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

  • You have extensive computer skills.

Meritorious:
  • Previous experience in elderly care.

About the recruitment processThe selection process will begin after the Christmas and New Year holidays. The position may be filled before the application deadline - therefore, we recommend not to delay your application.

Before any employment, an extract from the criminal record together with valid photo identification must be presented. If you are called for an interview, you need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
