We are looking for a dedicated and professional occupational therapist to join our team at Advanced Home Healthcare (ASIH).

About us Aleris Primary Care provides ASIH, palliative care, rehabilitation, urgent care, and basic home healthcare. With a clear care concept and good collaboration, we create safe and secure transitions in care – making a difference every day.

Within Aleris' palliative care area in the North, we provide ASIH on behalf of Region Stockholm, caring for severely ill patients in their homes. The operation consists of six ASIH units in northern and western Stockholm.

We offer specialized, person-centered care around the clock to adult patients, primarily those with cancer, COPD, heart failure, and neurological diseases. Our work is characterized by commitment, participation, and a holistic view that creates security for both patients and their relatives.

The Role

The occupational therapist's responsibilities within ASIH include both traditional occupational therapy interventions and meaningful interventions aimed at enhancing activity ability and quality of life. The role involves assessment and treatment of activity and functional ability, supporting the patient in utilizing their capabilities, as well as testing and prescribing assistive devices. The work is preventive, individualized, and contributes to the patient's security.

With us, you will work in interdisciplinary teams and care for patients on their terms while having the opportunity to develop in your professional role. You will belong to the paramedical unit and collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, and dietitians, as well as with nurses, doctors, and nursing assistants in the teams.

Our Offer

  • A meaningful and varied job where you make a difference for patients and their relatives.

  • A stimulating and supportive work environment.

  • Engaged colleagues and an interdisciplinary team.

  • We are affiliated with the Swedish Care Providers Association and a collective agreement is in place.

  • We offer wellness grants.

About You

We are looking for you who are a licensed occupational therapist, preferably with experience working in a team.

It is advantageous if you have experience working with multi-sick patients and similar assignments.

As a person, you have a flexible working style, are attentive, and take initiative. We see that you are confident in your professional role, have an easy time collaborating, and enjoy teamwork.

A valid B driver's license is required as the job involves meeting patients in their homes. You express yourself well in the Swedish language, both orally and in writing.

Employment Conditions Employment type: Permanent position Scope: Full-time 80-100% Start date: From 260401 or by agreement. Salary: Individual salary setting Collective agreement exists
