We are looking for you to be part of our wonderful night team.

BUP Stockholm section Acute and Inpatient Care consists of an acute unit and three inpatient care units. Most of the operations are located in Södermalm, near Södersjukhuset, and one care department is located at S:t Görans Hospital in Kungsholmen.

Unit 2 is one of the inpatient care departments in Södermalm and has ten care places. Here, children and adolescents with various mental illnesses and conditions are treated. From January 2023, the unit also partially offers care to patients with self-harming behavior from all over the country (national highly specialized care, NHV), which includes an intensive and broad care program based on dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).

At the unit, doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, psychologists, and social workers work together. All staff participate in a ten-day DBT-based basic training, as well as continuous further education and supervision. NHV will also conduct method development and high-level research and is expected to develop close cooperation with other psychiatric NHV units within and outside the region.
