This is a consulting assignment for 9 months with our client RISE in Borås. For the right person, there are good chances for extension.

About RISE:

We are now expanding our operations in the EMC-ICT unit, Electromagnetic Compatibility & Information and Communication Technology, within the Vehicle and Automation department. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop and work with cutting-edge technology in Northern Europe's largest EMC testing facility. RISE works with electronics for safety, reliability, and demanding environments. We work with the entire development chain from research and development to final testing and certification. Here, we collaborate with our industrial clients to create reliable and interference-resistant electronic designs for telecommunications, IT, vehicles, and industry. The position is located in Borås, where the rest of the team of about 18 people is also based.

About the Role:

You will be part of a team whose goal is to offer our clients expertise primarily in EMC testing of products for both consumer and industrial use. We conduct EMC testing against most common standards required for CE marking and for the North American market.

You will primarily work in our EMC/Radio labs and in our new large vehicle labs. Within the organization, we also actively work on various improvements, automated testing, and functional monitoring using AI, etc.

The testing assignments vary greatly depending on which product is to be tested and certified, leading to new exciting challenges every week. You will use a variety of measuring instruments required for our operations.

Depending on your previous experience and skills, you may also work with programming, project management, on-site measurements, investigation, and analysis consulting.

The position may involve tasks related to Sweden's security, and therefore a security clearance may be required, now or in the future.

Who Are You?

You have some form of engineering education, preferably from university or equivalent, ideally with a focus on electronics and/or radio communication. You may be a newly graduated engineer with great drive and curiosity or an experienced engineer.

It is advantageous, but not a requirement, if you have knowledge in any of the following areas:

• EMC testing
• Radio design
• Electronic design
• Testing and verification of electronics
• Programming

You have a good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English.
