Do you want to contribute your expertise in lighting design at one of Scandinavia's leading architectural firms? We are now looking for a lighting designer for our office in Gothenburg!

We are seeking an experienced lead lighting designer with high technical knowledge, good design ability, and experience in independently designing lighting, primarily in exterior environments.

At White, we currently have six lighting designers working in Stockholm and Gothenburg on projects both nationally and internationally. We work both with pure lighting design projects and in interdisciplinary teams with White's architects, interior architects, landscape architects, and other specialists where lighting design is an integrated part of the architectural assignment.

We are driven to challenge and be at the forefront of both design and sustainability, connected to various aspects such as climate, energy, reuse, health, safety, cultural and natural environments, and biodiversity. Our projects exist on both the public and private sides, with clients who share our high ambitions regarding design and sustainability. Education and experience

• University education in lighting design. A master's degree is meritorious.
• At least 5 years of professional experience as a lighting designer, of which at least 3 years as a lead lighting designer.
• Experience as a lead lighting designer in exterior lighting projects in all phases – from concept to design and implementation.

Skills

• Good knowledge of DIALux evo, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Suite or Affinity. Knowledge of Rhino is meritorious.
• Very good Swedish in speech and writing.

Your tasks may include

In both large and small projects, you will work as a lead lighting designer in close collaboration with the responsible lighting designer and architects, landscape architects, and sustainability specialists to drive and develop the project forward.

In your role as a lead lighting designer, you will also be responsible for the lighting design in smaller assignments as part of interdisciplinary teams.

The assignments vary in both size and complexity, and the tasks may include everything from early investigations, sketch work, and lighting concepts to design, lighting calculations, test lighting, and preparation of tender documents and construction drawings.
