The Role of Midwife

As a midwife at the Women's Clinic, you will work in a team and meet women at all stages of life. In inpatient care, we have rotation positions, which means you will serve in two of the clinic's units based on the needs of the operation. At the same time, we are attentive to your wishes and try to accommodate them. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and nights, with weekend duty two weekends out of five. We offer a permanent position with a start date according to agreement.

Your Future Workplace

At the Women's Clinic, Ryhov County Hospital, a total of 210 employees work. We provide health and medical care during pregnancy and childbirth, postpartum care, gynecological diseases, infertility, abortion and contraceptive services, as well as reproductive health for youth. Women's health care and the Youth Center are part of the Women's Clinic. The clinic has a county-wide responsibility for women with complicated pregnancies and threatened premature births. The Women's Clinic is a process-oriented clinic.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed midwife, and if you have previous experience in obstetric care, we see it as a bonus. You are confident in your role as a midwife and passionate about providing families with a good reception and a safe and positive childbirth experience and postpartum care. This is a job for you if you are communicative and have the courage to act even in situations that may challenge your calm and focus. You are unpretentious, empathetic, and flexible. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
