Energy Consulting is looking for Excavator Operator and Snowcat Driver (Full-time)

Do you have experience as an excavator operator and are looking for variety and new experiences in your work? Energy Consulting is currently seeking an excavator operator who wants to learn the technology in a ski resort such as snowcats, lifts, and snow cannons and contribute to skiing joy in Stockholm.

About the position:

We are looking for an experienced excavator operator with a background in construction work who wants a unique and exciting full-time position. In the summer, you will work on construction projects, and in the winter, you will switch to work in our ski resorts where you operate snowcats, produce snow, and ensure that the slopes and lifts function as they should.

Your responsibilities:

Summer (Excavator and Construction Work):

• Operate excavators and perform construction projects such as drainage, foundations, landscaping, and smaller building projects
• Plan and execute excavation and earthworks for road construction and other projects
• Maintenance of excavators and work equipment
• Contribute with practical work and problem-solving in various construction and civil engineering projects

Winter (Snowcat and Ski Resort Operations):

• Operate snowcats and ensure that the ski slopes are well-prepared
• Snow production and excavation of runs.
• Operation and maintenance of ski lifts and other parts of the facilities
• Work in our regular operations with guests in focus with tasks such as ski rental, lift ticket sales, and lift attendant.

About us:

At Energy Consulting Group of Scandinavia, we are a company with over 15 years of experience in operating ski resorts. During the summer months, we focus on construction work and smaller building projects, and during the winter season, we take care of our two ski resorts, Ekebyhovsbacken in Ekerö and Ekholmsnäsbacken in Lidingö. With us, you have the opportunity to combine two professional roles – excavator operator/constructor in the summer and operations technician in the ski slope in the winter!

Are you the one we are looking for?

This role is perfect for you if you have extensive experience in operating excavators and construction work, and are ready to try something new during the winter season. We are looking for someone who is technically skilled, independent, and not afraid to work in varying environments. Previous experience with snowcat operation or work in ski resorts is an advantage, but we also provide training for the right candidate.

Qualifications:

• Experience in operating excavators and working on earth and construction projects
• Driver's license B is a requirement, and C license is a merit
• Technical understanding and ability to maintain and repair machines
• Experience with snowcat operation or work in ski resorts is a plus, but not a requirement – we are happy to train
• Enjoy working outdoors and are flexible regarding tasks that vary with the seasons
