The unit is responsible for home healthcare for the municipality's residents aged 17 and older and for assistive devices prescription from the age of 21. Therefore, the workplace's mission offers a varied everyday life! The unit's working hours are Monday - Friday 07:00 - 16:00.

Currently, the unit has 6 nurses, 5 occupational therapists, 4 physiotherapists, and 1 administrator. One of our nurses is going on parental leave, and we are therefore looking for someone who wants to help strengthen our nursing team to contribute to safe and secure care at home for the residents of Knivsta. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of a nurse, you will perform regular health and medical care tasks within the municipal assignment. For us, this means that you have your own area of responsibility within home healthcare in ordinary housing where you are responsible for care and medical oversight and lead the work for the care staff. Therefore, it is important that you are prepared to take a leading role.

The medical responsibility is carried out according to the doctor's orders, with regular contact with the unit. The unit is responsible for individuals aged 17 and older. The unit is responsible for nursing interventions during the day, Monday - Friday.

To thrive in your tasks, we believe that you are comfortable in your role as a leader for the care staff, confident in yourself and your assessments, a good communicator with both patients, relatives, and the rest of the team. You understand the importance of teamwork and are good at organizing and structuring your time. At the same time, you need to be flexible and able to set boundaries when necessary.

In this particular temporary position, discharge planning and coordination will be about 50% of the role, so it is important that you have a good ability to communicate and plan for good, safe, and secure care.

You will document and work in systems such as Viva, TES, APPva, Cosmic Link, HUL portal, Senior-alert, and Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are a licensed nurse, trained nurse, district nurse, or dementia nurse, or have other valuable competencies assessed by the unit manager. Your personal qualities are as important as your qualifications, and we are looking for someone who is proactive and has excellent collaboration skills, as well as a positive attitude towards participating in quality and development work. You should enjoy varied and stimulating tasks.

A driver's license and good computer skills are required. We believe you have a few years of work experience as a nurse. It is an advantage if you are well acquainted with municipal operations and have experience with the operational systems we use.

The position is 100%, so it is important that you wish and want to work full-time.
