Nyby Gränby home care and Gamla Uppsala Löten home care are businesses that are in a developing phase. Nyby Gränby home care has about 35 employees and Gamla Uppsala Löten has about 35 employees. Our base is at Leopoldsgatan in Nyby service house, where we share facilities with the night patrol.

There are good opportunities for collaboration between the units, and we strive to offer equivalent care for our clients. The unit is in a development phase with ongoing changes aimed at improving operations from both a staff and client perspective. The businesses apply day, evening, and every other weekend shifts, but no split shifts. We provide work clothes, work shoes, outerwear, and service phones. You will get around by cycling. In Gamla Uppsala Löten home care, cars are also used. You who start working here will have the opportunity for high participation in shaping and influencing the business.

We are now looking for 6 care assistants for permanent full-time positions. We conduct ongoing selection and may call for interviews before the application period ends, so it is important that you submit a well-updated application.

Job Description

As a care assistant, you will work with a variety of tasks. You play an important role in direct contact with our clients, providing personal care and service efforts that make a difference in their daily lives. You work every day to provide good care with great consideration for the individual needs of the clients.

You will also perform tasks delegated by licensed personnel and document according to the Social Services Act. In close collaboration with your colleagues, you contribute to the development of the operations.

Qualifications

We prefer that you have experience working with the elderly in home care or similar settings. It is an advantage if you have experience performing health and medical care tasks delegated by HSL personnel. You also need to have documentation and computer skills. To succeed in your role as a care assistant with us, you need to have very good oral and written skills in Swedish and be accustomed to using digital tools, as well as the willingness and ability to cycle in all weather conditions.

As a person, you take initiative and start activities. You ensure that tasks are completed and results are achieved, and you adapt quickly when something changes and can adjust your thinking. You see opportunities in changes. You remain calm and stable even when it is stressful, maintaining focus on what is important and having a realistic perspective. You collaborate well with others.
