The Café and Store department in Karlshamn is part of Meal Service.

At the Café and Store in Karlshamn, we are a small but close-knit team of two employees. We are part of the service area within Region Blekinge and work daily to deliver support and service to operations within the region. Every day with us is filled with meetings with people and an opportunity to make a difference.

The Job

As a cold kitchen assistant/servering assistant with us, you will have a varied job where your main tasks are:

Preparing sandwiches and coffee.
Restocking displays with salads, cakes, candy, and other products.
Unpacking and handling orders from suppliers.
Performing conference deliveries.
Manning the cash register and reporting sales.
Conducting self-checks and other café-related tasks.

The summer position lasts about 10 weeks, starting around week 24-25. We prefer that you can work the entire period, but it may be possible to work parts of the period if desired. Working hours are scheduled during the day.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is at least 18 years old at the start of employment.
Has an ongoing or completed education as a chef, cold kitchen assistant, or equivalent education/documented experience deemed equivalent by the employer.
Has experience in food work, self-checks, and service (meritorious).
Is service-oriented and enjoys meeting people.
Has good teamwork skills and can adapt to different situations.
Fluently speaks and writes Swedish.

We consider experience in food work, self-check programs, and service to be meritorious.

We place great importance on personal suitability and that you are responsible.
