We are now looking for a Receptionist for Scandic Karlskrona.

What does the role entail?

As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the spider in the web who ensures that the guest is always the focus. You are the one who goes through the arrival list and pays attention to the details. You ensure that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution in your back pocket. You solve most issues and are a star at turning a dissatisfied guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, as that is where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative work, security tasks, and sales work.

The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing them with the information they need about their stay. You handle bookings in the Opera Cloud system and manage administrative tasks related to guests and security. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.

The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).

Who are you?

To fit into the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.

You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a working tool.

Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.

However, the most important thing is your personal qualities and attitude. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
