The changing global situation means that our defense needs to be strengthened and the increased intelligence activities against Sweden and the Armed Forces are extensive. The Military Intelligence and Security Service (Must) conducts defense intelligence operations and military intelligence and security services to support Swedish foreign, defense, and security policy, as well as for mapping external threats against Sweden.

Main Responsibilities
As a system developer with us, you will be part of a larger group that continuously divides into smaller teams to develop and maintain everything from smaller programs to larger systems to support and improve our operations. Currently, we have high competence and our operations are growing, thus we need to deliver on more fronts simultaneously, we need to expand!
We work closely with the business and maintain a close dialogue with end users to ensure that we deliver maximum benefit. Within our group, we choose almost freely which tools, programming languages, and frameworks we want to use to solve our tasks.
You will be part of a team with very senior, competent developers, and we are looking for someone with high competence along with a drive to maintain and further develop this. You are also attracted by the challenge of being part of a highly competent group and dare to challenge with new solution ideas and participate in unpretentious discussions aimed at jointly finding the best solution for the intended goal.
As our colleague, you are expected to work actively as an important part of the team, without being indispensable. This is created by documenting your work, your code, but even better, working with pair programming where appropriate. In this way, we ensure redundancy and security that the operations can continue and deliver results, even during e.g., vacation periods.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge acquired in another way
- Many years of interest and experience in system development, preferably with a focus on security
- Good ability to document your own work
- Strong desire to complete functionality and see its effect on end users
- High ambition to stay updated in development
Meritorious
- Good ability to model data flows
- Experience with large data sets and R
- Good understanding and experience with tools like NiFi, Kafka, Apache Spark, Elasticsearch & Kubernetes
- Experience in security, both intrusion protection and security redundancy
Personal Qualities

You have a problem-solving analytical ability and enjoy collaborating smoothly with your colleagues. You are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. You have high integrity while also having the ability to independently take responsibility for and drive your processes forward.
