Network Technician at the Swedish Parliament Administration
The Swedish Parliament Administration is an authority tasked with facilitating the work of the parliament. Approximately 700 politically neutral employees work at the Parliament Administration with many different types of tasks.
We are now looking for a network technician with high technical competence and great commitment to join our IT department. With us, you will work close to the heart of democracy and contribute to a larger context, secure digital infrastructure, and reliable communication services.
Your Responsibilities
As a network technician, you will become a significant colleague in a prioritized area for the IT department's deliveries. You will work in a team with a focus on proactive operations as well as the operation and further development of our modern and secure network platforms, always prioritizing security and availability to ensure stable and secure communication.
Your high competence and solid experience will be central in identifying areas for improvement and making technical updates in line with the needs of the organization. On-call duty may be required, depending on needs and workload.
Your Qualifications
You should have:
- at least five years of current work experience as a network technician
- very good knowledge of firewalls and switches based on, for example, Juniper
- experience and competence in load balancing solutions, e.g., F5
- very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
It is advantageous if you also have knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas:
- configuration and maintenance of Git repos and CI/CD pipelines
- DNS
- wifi

The Swedish Parliament Administration applies a probationary period.
The position is classified in a security class, which in this case requires Swedish citizenship and a successful security clearance. We welcome applicants with diverse experiences and backgrounds.
