Do you want to work closely with technology in a role where you become the hub between development and production? This is what you will do with us

As a Test Engineer at SafeLine, you will play a central role in managing, further developing, and eventually modernizing the company's test systems for electronics production. You will work both operationally and strategically - responsible for ensuring testability in new products, supporting production with troubleshooting and improvements.

You will:

• Manage and further develop the production test system in C#/C++ in a Visual Studio environment
• Work closely with hardware development and production to ensure test logic and measurement
• Participate in requirements setting and test strategies for new products and system solutions
• Be a key person in cross-functional collaboration between testing, development, and production

Your team and workplace

You will be part of SafeLine's product organization in Tyresö and work closely with both the test team and hardware developers. The entire chain from idea to production is present, allowing for short decision-making paths and effective collaboration between departments. The role requires full-time presence on-site – enabling quick check-ins, practical testing, and close dialogue with colleagues.

More about you

To succeed in this role, we see that you have a strong background in development in C# and C++, preferably in Visual Studio with MFC and .NET. You have previously worked with automated test systems in a production environment, have a good understanding of embedded systems, and feel comfortable handling measurement equipment and I/O devices. It is important that you enjoy reading and understanding others' code, taking responsibility for the whole, and working methodically with long-term improvements.

As a person, you are analytical, structured, and humble. You are used to taking your own initiatives and have a natural desire to understand technical relationships in depth. At the same time, you are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others – whether it’s embedded developers, production engineers, or testing personnel you are talking to. You are motivated by working closely with technology in an environment where quality comes before quick fixes, and where what you build is truly used.
