Job Responsibilities
As an internal auditor at LFV, you have an independent and advisory role with the task of reviewing, evaluating, and contributing to strengthening the authority's internal governance and control. The role is a sole auditor, which means you are independently responsible for the internal audit function and drive the audit work from planning to reporting. This gives you a unique opportunity to influence and shape the work while having a prioritized and recognized role in the agency. Your reviews, analyses, and recommendations directly contribute to LFV's development, governance, and decision-making at the highest level.
Your responsibilities include conducting reviews of processes, routines, and financial flows, analyzing risks, and providing recommendations for how risk management and governance can be developed. You advise and support the Director General, the Board, and management on issues related to governance, control, and efficiency. You ensure that the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, and internal guidelines and compile your observations into clear and constructive reports that serve as a basis for decisions and improvement measures. The internal audit function is organizationally placed directly under LFV's management and operates as an independent function. You report to the Board.

About You

You have several years of experience in qualified audit work. You can express yourself well in both Swedish and English, in speech and writing. It is an advantage if you have certification from IIA or ISACA or have worked in a similar role in the public sector.
To succeed in this role, you need to have a good understanding of public governance, risk management, and administrative law, as well as the ability to analyze complex issues, draw well-founded conclusions, and communicate them clearly and constructively.
You are a person of high integrity, good judgment, and a natural ability to build trust within the organization. You enjoy working independently and have the ability to drive your work forward in a structured and solution-oriented manner.
Before employment, LFV conducts a security clearance that includes a background check, security interview, and drug test. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
