Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to people who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to a smooth daily life. In this assignment, the client is a child, which means you need to be empathetic, secure, and supportive in the child's development and daily routines.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, committed, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who match the following:

• Willing to work with a 9-year-old girl living with her family in Tungelsta
• Have good knowledge of Swedish
• Have a warm demeanor, a lot of patience, and the ability to create security and joy in the child's daily life
• Have good physical condition and can perform heavy lifting
• Are smoke-free

It is also meritorious if you:

• Have experience in similar work and working with children
• Have experience and knowledge of epilepsy

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is at 60%. The job involves working on weekdays (Monday-Friday) between 1:00 PM - 8:30 PM and night shifts between 7:00 PM - 8:00 AM (with 7.5 hours of on-call time). On Sundays, the working hours are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM and 9:30 PM - 8:00 AM. We would like you to be able to work two afternoon/evening shifts and two night shifts per week. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is made according to collective agreements.

Immediately or according to agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you, as an applicant, can present a valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years of age. Therefore, you need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
