Project Coordinator with a Focus on Digital Inclusion
Do you want to contribute to the digitalization of society and strengthen digital inclusion in Sweden? We are now looking for two project coordinators who want to help drive and develop the collaboration platform Digitalidag. With us, you will play an important role in creating conditions for everyone to want and be able to be digitally included in society – work that truly makes a difference.
We work with what everyone takes for granted. The ability to communicate. With us, you will ensure that it works now and in the future. For everyone.
The positions are located in the unit for societal digitalization. The unit was established on January 1, 2024, and works to create good conditions for societal digitalization and enable inclusive digital development. The unit works with both external and internal coordination tasks and leads various assignments and projects, including government assignments, within the area of digitalization policy. The work includes planning, implementing, and following up on activities that contribute to achieving the policy's goals effectively.
An important part of the unit's work is the collaboration platform Digitalidag, which brings together actors from all over the country and all sectors of society. Through Digitalidag, we work with broad collaboration, dialogue, and knowledge exchange to strengthen digital competence in Sweden. The goal is for everyone to want and be able to participate in digital development.
“My name is Nicklas Liss-Larsson, and I will be your manager. As the unit manager, I value leadership based on trust and confidence. I strive to give employees the space to take responsibility and develop without micromanagement, while being available for dialogue and support. I believe that together, through open discussions and joint solutions, we create the best results.”
About the Role
You are part of the team that drives and develops the collaboration platform Digitalidag within PTS's promotional work. The role is both operational and administrative and involves many points of contact, internally within the agency and externally with actors throughout society.
You will work to raise awareness of Digitalidag and motivate actors such as companies, government agencies, interest organizations, municipalities, and libraries. In the role, you will coordinate actors with common target groups, contribute to information and communication materials such as newsletters and web texts, and participate in the planning and implementation of outreach activities such as web broadcasts, workshops, and conferences.
The work also includes web publishing on digitalidag.se, some financial and case administration, as well as participation in analysis, investigation, and reporting work within the area of digital inclusion.
About the Team
The unit consists of 11 engaged employees and one unit manager. We offer an open, collaborative, and development-oriented work environment where we help each other and share knowledge. The team working with Digitalidag currently consists of a project manager and several project coordinators.
About You
To succeed in this role, you are collaborative and have the ability to create win-win solutions with a focus on the common goal. You work in a structured manner, plan your work well, and meet deadlines even when handling multiple parallel processes. You are results-oriented, set high goals, and drive the work forward with ambition and commitment. At the same time, you are stable and handle pressure and changes in a constructive and unpretentious manner.
Your personal qualities are important to us, so we will place great emphasis on these.
We are looking for someone who has:
- A completed university or college education, e.g., in social sciences, economics, or communication.
- At least a couple of years of professional experience in a role as a project coordinator or equivalent.
- Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
It is also advantageous if you have:
- Experience in analysis and investigation work within the public sector.
- Basic knowledge of societal digitalization with a focus on digital inclusion.
- Experience in planning and conducting workshops, networking events, broadcasts, and seminars.
- Experience in developing training (e.g., in AI) in collaboration with various stakeholders to meet requested needs.
Our Offer
We take life seriously. With us, you can have a life both at work and outside of it. If you feel good, we feel good. Therefore, we offer competitive salaries, flexible working hours, and the possibility of remote work. We also have generous wellness benefits and two wellness hours each week.
Additionally, you will receive favorable conditions for lunch, vacation, parental leave, pension, and in case of illness. Here you will work in modern activity-based premises at Hälsingegatan 38. As a government agency, we offer a safe and stable work environment where you can feel secure. We are creating tomorrow's society and must stay at the forefront. With us, you will continuously grow with your tasks.
Good to Know
The position is a permanent employment with an initial probationary period of six months. Placement in Stockholm with a start date as soon as possible by agreement. Your job title will be project coordinator.
To ensure a fair and objective assessment of your skills, we ask you not to include a photo, personal identification number, or address in your CV. We have chosen not to request a cover letter as we instead use selection questions. This is to focus on your experience and skills, contributing to a more efficient and fair recruitment process.
