Department Manager Defence

Your Role

As the Department Manager Defence, you will lead Etteplan's investment in the defense industry in Gothenburg. You will be responsible for driving the business, developing new customer relationships, and selling the entire Etteplan service portfolio – from complete projects to competency resources. A crucial part of the role is to attract the right talent and build a strong team that can deliver complete solutions.

You will have overall responsibility for establishing a new department in Gothenburg and for the business's results and development. You will plan and lead the operational activities, allocate resources, manage risks, and optimize costs. The role includes creating long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with laws and security requirements, and continuously driving recruitment and development of employees towards set goals.

To take on this role, you need

• Experience as a group manager, department manager, technical project manager, or equivalent role in the defense industry or telecom
• A strong network within the defense sector
• An academic background as an engineer or other work experience that has given you the knowledge required to understand technical solutions and processes
• To communicate fluently in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written

This position may require an approved security clearance based on current security protection regulations. For positions that require security classification, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship apply.
