We are now looking for a teacher for the after-school program at Ellen Key School.

Ellen Key School is a school for students from preschool to grade 6, with two classes in each grade and four after-school program departments. The school is located near nature and has about 300 students and approximately 45 staff members. Our goal is for Ellen Key School to be a school with clear structures for democracy and norm criticism, and that we work together to ensure that all students achieve their goals. We want our students to feel welcome, expected, and important every day they come to school and seen, heard, and understood when they leave Ellen Key School. Responsibilities

As a teacher in the after-school program, you will plan, implement, follow up, and evaluate the activities according to current governing documents and the goals of the program. You are innovative and forward-thinking and keep yourself well-informed in your field. Furthermore, you collaborate with guardians, student health, work teams, and other school staff, and you work together to achieve good quality in the after-school program's activities. You also have close cooperation with other staff in the after-school program. With a creative approach, you drive the pedagogical development work.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a licensed teacher for the after-school program.

As a teacher in the after-school program with us, you will collaborate with guardians, student health, work teams, and other school staff, which requires that you enjoy a role where collaboration is a central part. With your ability to collaborate and your respectful approach, you find it easy to create and maintain trusting relationships. As a person, you thrive in an assignment where you have a lot of personal responsibility and are given the space to take many initiatives. You are creative and are happy to come up with new ideas and approaches. If you are also engaged and want to develop in your role, we believe you will thrive with us.
