JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to help develop the preschool of the future in Mölndal?

As a development manager in preschool, you play a central role in creating attractive workplaces, high pedagogical quality, and an equitable preschool throughout the city of Mölndal. You contribute with participation, job satisfaction, and professional pride, as well as making systematic quality work a natural part of the operations.

Mölndal's preschool operations work based on pedagogical relationships with language in focus as a foundation. We are moving towards a more data-driven approach, where analysis, follow-up, and quality-assured materials form the basis for development initiatives. In the role of development manager, you therefore need to have a strategic approach and the ability to translate data, analyses, and operational needs into concrete development processes.

Your assignment includes representing and further developing the preschool network and Sinkadusen, the preschool's creative resource center. You work closely with the operations manager, principals, and other support functions to tailor development initiatives to the preschool units.

You will help develop tools and models for development work and work with professional development within the network. An important part of the assignment is to represent and further develop Mölndal's preschools' literature profile as well as aesthetic learning processes and sustainable work with reused materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a licensed preschool teacher with work experience in the profession. You also have experience working with development work within preschool. It is also an advantage if you have experience in mentoring. As a person, you have good collaboration skills and are a good inspirer and role model in your professional role.

You effectively identify and analyze the core of a problem and propose possible solutions. You express the core of an argument clearly and adapt your communication to the recipient, target group, and situation. Furthermore, you take responsibility for your and the shared tasks with the best interests of the operations/users in focus, as well as having good administrative skills.

A large part of Mölndal's preschools have a literature profile, so it is meritorious if you have experience with in-depth work with language and literature.
