Do you want to be an important part of Ryaskolan? We are now looking for a teacher qualified to teach grades 1-3.

The position is a temporary contract and will last during the spring term of 2026.

Ryaskolan is a multicultural primary school with students from preschool to grade six. Our focus for several years has been to work on language development in all subjects. Ryaskolan's prioritized goals are language development, cooperative learning, and values education. Responsibilities

The core task of the role is to teach grades 1-3. The role also includes mentorship for a class in grade 1. You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching. You will be part of a working team for grades F-3, as well as the grade 1 working team. The school has four classes in grade 1, and together with these teachers and teachers in after-school care, you will plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching. Around you, you have a student health team consisting of a special educator, special teacher, counselor, school nurse, school psychologist, and school leaders.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a valid teaching license qualified to teach grades 1-3. Broad qualifications (Swedish, Swedish as a second language, mathematics, science, social studies) are an advantage. You need to speak and write Swedish fluently.

As a person, you have the ability to motivate and inspire students to learn. You have good pedagogical skills, and we expect you to see each student from a holistic perspective and have a positive view of students where you are attentive to their differences and various needs. You create good relationships with students and colleagues and have a desire to help develop the school's operations. You have the ability to work collaboratively with others and understand the common mission.
