Fjärdingskolan is a two-parallel F-6 school with approximately 280 students. We are a pleasant school with proximity to the forest and a beautiful outdoor environment.

Fjärdingskolan is a place where people from many different cultures meet, where we see differences as an asset and where everyone's equal value is in focus. We have a stable staff with high qualifications, many of whom have worked at the school for a long time. We work purposefully with the Swedish language, have small class teaching in both Swedish and math, and a three-teacher system in grades 1-3. We base our work on each student's conditions and work purposefully together to nurture our students' curiosity and desire to learn.

The school has a well-regarded library with an engaged librarian who, together with the teachers, works to promote the joy of reading in all grades. We also have a close collaboration with the Culture School, which conducts all music education with us, where our students get to practice orchestral playing.

Teacher in After-School Care at Fjärdingskolan

As a teacher in after-school care, you have a central role in creating a learning, developing, and meaningful after-school care program. We offer a wide range of activities for our students. Student participation is a central part of our working method, and we plan our activities based on that.

You will plan and develop the program based on the curriculum together with your work team and other colleagues, where the quality of the after-school care is monitored and evaluated. You work to create a safe and stimulating environment where each student has the opportunity to develop both individually and in groups. Together, we create an environment where students feel hopeful about the future.

We are looking for a licensed teacher with qualifications to teach in after-school care or a trained leisure educator or licensed preschool teacher.

For this role, you need a commitment to creating a stimulating and meaningful time in after-school care for our students. You have a creative ability and are full of ideas when it comes to planning the content of the teaching, while also being able to work systematically to turn ideas into action.

You are positive and have a good approach by creating good relationships with both students, parents, and colleagues. You are a confident leader and role model who is particularly passionate about developing after-school activities. As a person, you are responsible, have the ability to collaborate through open communication, and have a listening approach, but also the ability to work independently.
