In August 2025, Härryda Municipality started a resource school for students with autism and/or language disorders. Mosslyckeskolan is a school that offers education in a small context. The students come from all over the municipality, and in the school year 25/26 we have 20 students in grades 4-8. The premises have great potential, are newly renovated, and are beautifully located in Landvetter right next to Önnerödsskolan. The schoolyard has been restored and is divided into two areas, one area that invites play and activity and a part where students can sit and play games or socialize. The school consists of a large building with several entrances and different rooms that will be adapted to the needs of our operations. We aim for high competence and that all professions needed by the school will be available. We will build up the school and many parts of the organization together. You will have access to regular supervision from a speech therapist, psychologist, and special educator. A warm welcome to Härryda Municipality and the resource school!

Your Assignment

As a teacher with us, you will meet the students every morning and conduct a check-in to capture how they feel and how they perceive their daily state. Based on this, you will adapt the start of the day according to the level the students signal they can handle.

You will continuously work with visual support and clarifying pedagogy to strengthen the students' communication and ability to demonstrate their knowledge.

Your role includes planning, implementing, and evaluating teaching together with colleagues. You are responsible for leading instruction in your subjects, both in class, in small groups, and individually as needed. The teaching is always based on applicable governing documents and curricula. Your planning should also be able to serve as clear instructions for any teaching assistants, which requires both good teaching skills and the ability to collaborate with other adults.

Collaboration around the students is a central part of the operation. You are therefore expected to actively participate in team meetings, professional development, and other meeting forums. As support in your work, you have close access to special educators, special teachers, and speech therapists, as well as ongoing supervision in your role.

An important part of the assignment is also to have a good dialogue with guardians and external actors to ensure the students' development and well-being.

Requirements for the Position

We are looking for a licensed primary school teacher with subject competence in English for grades 4–9 and at least two additional subject competencies. It is an advantage if you have a broader subject competence.

You have a strong commitment and experience working with children and young people with NPF diagnoses (autism, ADHD, and language disorders). You work in a low-arousal and flexible manner, using clarifying pedagogy, TAKK, visual support, and digital and compensatory tools as natural elements in teaching.

To obtain employment, a criminal record extract from the police must be presented.
