The Speech Therapy Clinic in Helsingborg is a general speech therapy clinic that receives multiple speech therapy diagnosis groups. We meet patients of all ages with both developmental and acquired difficulties regarding language, speech, voice, reading, writing, counting, as well as eating and swallowing.

We strive to be a clinic with high competence and specialization in the various areas. We have a close collaboration with the speech therapy education at Lund University and receive a large number of students every semester for clinical education and supervision.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for a nursing assistant to our workgroup where the main task is to assist in the fiber endoscopic swallowing examinations (FUS) that the speech therapists perform in inpatient and outpatient care. This means that you will prepare necessary instruments and materials, provide assistance and support during the examination with the patient, and take care of follow-up work such as cleaning the endoscope. Additionally, the position includes inventory and ordering of supplies; supporting the development of patient materials for other speech therapy activities, as well as some patient administration.

The majority of the position is based in Helsingborg, but about one day a week you will work at the speech therapy clinic in Ängelholm. As a new employee with us, you will receive a designated supervisor and a thorough introduction to the workplace.

We plan to hold interviews on January 9th and 12th.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying are a trained nursing assistant and meet the Socialstyrelsen's requirements for a protected professional title, regardless of whether you have studied according to previous or current program structure. Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, are a requirement. The following are meritorious: experience working with patients with neurological injuries and diseases; experience handling fiber endoscopic equipment; and/or experience working with orders in the Raindance financial system and Marketplace.
