Pilot Plant Battery Assembly

Pilot Plant is part of Engineering and serves as the hub for the development and verification of new products and processes. Our mission is to build physical prototypes at an early stage to ensure that both the product and the manufacturing process meet the highest quality standards.

Do you want to help shape the products of the future – before they even reach the market?

As a battery assembly technician, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the development of next-generation battery technology. You will be an important part of a team of 15 dedicated colleagues, where each person has a clear responsibility in the assembly process.

Our goal is to identify and address any deviations early on, so that we can deliver world-class products to our customers around the globe.

Responsibilities:

As a battery assembly technician, you are responsible for assembling batteries according to given instructions, with the highest possible quality and within the set timeframes for the various phases of the projects. You lead the work within your area of responsibility and ensure that everything flows according to plan from planning to finished product.

In this role, you will closely collaborate with preparers, designers, and section project leaders. You will provide important feedback during the assembly and handle questions regarding incoming components.

You are also responsible for maintaining both personal and shared equipment, as well as keeping order in our common workspaces – an important part of creating a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

We are looking for someone with a high school education or a degree from a vocational school in an electrical engineering field. Alternatively, you have documented extensive experience working with electrified vehicles and the assembly of HV batteries.

In addition, we would like you to have:

  • Experience working with Teamcenter
  • Experience with automated processes and robotic stations
  • Good knowledge of both Swedish and English
  • A valid driver's license, as travel and transportation may occur in the role
  • A strong safety mindset and a proactive approach to workplace safety and risk management – particularly important when working with high-voltage systems and prototype environments.
