Permanova designs and builds laser-based production equipment for the manufacturing of aerospace engine components using additive manufacturing and welding. Your Responsibilities

As a mechanical designer with us, you will work on the design of mechanical solutions in our laser systems – from idea and concept to finished product. The work is project-based, and you collaborate closely with colleagues in areas such as electrical design, automation, and production to drive the work forward.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Design and construction of machines and production equipment

• Creation of 3D models and drawings

• Collaboration with electrical, software, and production teams, etc.

• Technical documentation

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• A degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent

• At least 5 years of experience in mechanical design

• Very good knowledge of 3D CAD, SolidWorks is a requirement

• Experience in strength calculations and simulations

• Experience with product structures

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with PDM systems

• Knowledge in optics and/or electrical design

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings

• Experience in independently developing automation or fixturing solutions
