JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to contribute to a safe and secure electrical environment for the entire municipality?

We are now looking for an engaged Electrical Operations Manager who wants to take formal and practical responsibility for the electrical safety legislation and ensure that our electrical installations are operated in a safe, controlled, and documented manner. Main Responsibilities

• Ensure that electrical installations meet the requirements according to the electrical safety legislation and applicable regulations.
• Establish, develop, and implement routines for safe electrical operations, including maintenance and operational instructions.
• Coordinate and collaborate with operations, maintenance, project management, and contractors during new installations, renovations, and maintenance work.
• Be responsible for permitting, work preparation, and safety during electrical work.
• Follow up and analyze operational disturbances, conduct self-inspections, and order inspections and audits.
• Ensure competence and training for staff working with the operation and maintenance of electrical installations.
• Participate in planning and implementation of investments and quality assure the handover of electrical engineering projects.

The role entails overall responsibility for ensuring that all our electrical installations are safe, documented, and function according to requirements, and that all electrical-related work is carried out correctly and with the right competence.

You will be placed in the Service Sector with coordination responsibility for the entire municipality.

The position may involve travel between different units within the municipality/region and is subject to a security review.

QUALIFICATIONS

Educational Requirements:

• Electrical engineering education at the high school, YH, or university level, or knowledge and experience that the employer deems equivalent.
• Completed and current ESA training.

Meritorious:

• Authorization AL, BAS-U/P.
• Driver's license B is required.

You should have good knowledge of:

• Electrical Safety Act (2016:732) and associated regulations.
• SS-EN 501101 Operation of electrical installations.
• Swedish Work Environment Authority regulations related to electricity (AFS).
• Systematic Work Environment Management (SAM).
• Ability to lead and document electrical work.
• Experience working in documentation systems.
