Your role as a system engineer

At Combitech in Trollhättan, we look forward to strengthening our already competent team in mechanical design with a skilled system engineer. We are seeking more talented employees to handle the exciting projects we are driving from our office. As a system engineer with us, you will participate in the entire process, from idea to finished product, and we value a positive work climate and a strong team spirit. Your main tasks will include system definition, requirements management, and architecture for both civilian and military products, subsystems, and systems. You are expected to contribute operationally in projects through technical analyses, troubleshooting, and system integration. You will have direct contact with both customers and potential end-users, which requires a high level of communication skills as well as the ability to work both independently and in a team. In this role, you will serve as the technical link between various disciplines such as mechanics, electronics, software, and materials, ensuring that a system perspective permeates the entire product lifecycle.

Who are you?

You are a communicative person who takes initiative and enjoys project-based work. You find it easy to build good relationships and have a relevant higher education, for example in mechanical engineering. At least 5 years of work experience is required, particularly beneficial if you have previously worked on the development of advanced systems, e.g. in the aerospace or automotive industry and have had responsibility for one or more systems/subsystems. In the role, you will work closely with design, calculation, production, validation, and system suppliers. You master at least one of the CAD systems CATIA, CREO, or NX.

Since the position involves work covered by defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and pass a security clearance with a background check.
